My classmates make fun of me because I always tell them that I have to pee or use the bathroom. I especially like to tell them that when it's impossible for me to leave the classroom, and then sometimes I whine about it. I like to think I got that from you, actually, I'm about a 100% sure that I did :)
When I think back of my time spent with you in LA, the CSBS jumps out. I remember thinking it was so cool that my DTS staff was now a student with me and that we ended up being friends! You have always been someone that I look up to. In the first place because I thought you were so beautiful, pure and honest. I wanted to be like that. I cut my hair because it looked so good on you. I once spoke out to God that I wanted to give up certain rights because I heard you do that during DTS. And now, when I'm happy, grumpy or have to pee- I just say it and I think that's being honest :)
I am so thankful that I got to spent four of your thirthy years with you! I know that you will continue to inspire many people around you, I know that many people will continue to imitate you because they see something beautiful, pure and honest in you.
Happy birthday Amy, I love you! Enjoy your day, and the rest of the years ahead.
Love, Elies
Ps. Make it your goal to come to Holland before you get too old ;)
