30. Big 3-0. Dirty 30. 30, flirty, etc... Beyond all of that, the one thing I constantly hear, and can attest to myself, is that you finally start being happy in your skin in your 30s. You know what you like and who you are and it's time to go with it. Granted, some of us have more sagging going on in said skin but, when you've breast-fed three kids it's to be expected. I personally can look back on my 20's and see some amazing times, but as I look forward to the rest of the 30's, and even 40's, and I have this excitement for what's yet to come. There's just something about getting out of the 20's that is so freeing! So don't be scared. You aren't old yet. Live it up girl! : )
Let's talk about Amy now! Amy is: lovely, caring, silly, passionate, friendly, determined, and let's be shallow a second...has GREAT hair. Her desire for the Lord is precious and child-like. She longs to know Him and see Him. And then there is Nanny Amy. Nanny Amy was a rock-star. She saved my sanity many times. And a certain blond-haired, blue-eyed little girl adored her (and still would if she wasn't so far away....). And there is Amy-who-puts-up-with-Matt. It takes special people to navigate the randomness that is my husband. Well done. But most of all there is Amy the friend. Thanks for trusting me with your stuff and listening to mine. I miss our chats and shopping outings. I miss the realness of our friendship. I miss sharing adult beverages. I miss you.
So...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMY SEMBER!!!
May you feel as loved as you are today. I pray blessings in abundance over the coming years. That your heart would draw ever closer to Him and that plans and destiny would be revealed. That you would step into the path of greatness that is before you. That you would meet a hot, sexy, man who is crazy for you. That you would come visit the Kauffmans in Pennsylvania soon (I think that one was prophetic). But mostly, that your life would be full of joy. Not just happiness, JOY! I wish I was there to celebrate with you. We love you!
Matt, Andrea, Anna, Libby, and Mr. Will
ps. I asked Matt if he wanted to write you a message and his was response was, "Tell her she stinks." Enough said.
